About Shelly
Shelly is a former professional marketer who left the workforce after 25 years of leading creative teams through all aspects of marketing. She has always loved art. Making it. Looking at it. Being around it.
Mostly a self-taught artist, Shelly has practiced and studied art on and off over the course of her life, including at The Washington Studio School, Silvermine Arts Center, and The Lower East Side Printshop, among others. She works in printmaking , painting, and mixed media.
Shelly is a member of The Monotype Guild of New England, The Society of American Graphic Artists, The Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Carriage Barns Arts Center, Greenwich Art Society, and the Ridgefield Guild of Artists. Her work has been juried into numerous shows in New England and the Mid Atlantic. Shelly is also a member of the Westport Public Arts Collection Committee.
